Today’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – A ridge of high pressure is bringing Houston hot weather this weekend, with “feels like” temperatures in the triple digits. The forecasted high is 98 but if Houston happens to reach 100 tomorrow, it will be the first 100 degree day of 2025. The average 100 degree day typically occurs in mid-July.

We’ll track the chance for more severe weather in the Dallas area tonight into tomorrow. Houston isn’t expecting severe storms, but the heat is a serious concern. “Feels-like” temperatures could soar to 102–104°F this afternoon, posing a risk of heat illness for everyone.

  • Beat the heat. Shift outdoor activities to before 10 AM or after 6 PM.
