Today’s Forecast:

HOUSTON – A ridge of high pressure is bringing Houston hot weather this weekend, with “feels like” temperatures in the triple digits. But rain is coming next week thanks to a front, not only bringing chances for daily showers and thunderstorms but will drop our temps to the upper 80s for a few days.

The heat risk will start to increase into the weekend as well, in fact, this is a good weekend to be mindful of staying extra hydrated for both Saturday and Sunday.

Saharan Dust: A golden glow from Saharan dust will enhance sunrises and sunsets, amplifying reds, oranges, and pinks as sunlight scatters off particles. We’ll see slightly hazy conditions in the morning but clearing out for the most part by afternoon.
