HOUSTON – Gulf humidity is back and will be in charge for most of our holiday forecast. Expect highs to climb again back into the mid 90s, feeling more like the low 100s so as always, take care in the midday heat and drink plenty of water.
Memorial Day rain and storms will come in waves. The first wave impacting communities north of I-10 Monday morning through the afternoon.
Monday evening, Monday night and overnight we watching for waves of showers and storms.

If you want to get away from some of the heat, the beach is a good bet, however, rip currents will be on the strong side all weekend, so be careful in the water! Remember, never fight the current! Swim parallel to shore. If you get caught in a rip, stay afloat and call for help.
