Hot, sticky weather stretches into Memorial holiday weekend rush in Houston

Although rain chances will be small, the heat will loom large for the holiday weekend

HOUSTON – Gulf humidity is back and will be in charge for most of our holiday forecast. While there is a very small chance to see any rain for the first half of the holiday, it’s always good to see current conditions if you’re trying to head out.

Expect highs to climb again back into the mid 90s, feeling more like the low 100s so as always, take care in the midday heat.

Temperatures may see a dip back into the 80s as rain chances increase slightly for Memorial Day weekend.

Right now, it looks like 20-30% should cover our weekend so pool parties and BBQ time should be just fine. Storm chances ramp up for Memorial Day and a good chunk of next week.
