REALLY HOT ahead of a cool front:

A cool front moves through on Tuesday, bringing a slight chance for showers.

Not much rain for SE Texas Tuesday, expect an isolated shower or storm

The cold front isn’t the type that will drop us back into the 70s, but it will swing winds from the south to the north, blowing in drier air that will help lower humidity for a few days.

Humidity gets shoved south as a cold front moves through Tuesday through Wednesday

Ahead of the front, feels-like temperatures will sky rocket to the triple digits Tuesday.

Tuesday will be the steamiest day over the next 5 days

We’ll see a tiny dip in our morning lows, which will bring a slight relief to the mornings- instead of waking in upper 70s and low 80s, we get to enjoy a couple mornings in the low 70s.

Closer to average late week

The front will weaken and stall out which may bring a few more isolated showers Thursday.

Take care of yourself in this heat:

Remember to take breaks to avoid heat exhaustion if you plan to be outside. It usually takes our bodies a few weeks to acclimate to the typical summer Houston heat.
