Rain returns to Houston Friday, but that doesn’t mean the weekend will be a total washout

Rain chances fall off into the weekend

Houston will still have some rain, but the weather will be less severe than earlier this week.

We expect to see much of the rain activity by the late afternoon, but as we turn toward the night, things look quiet.

Weekend Forecast:

The LPGA Chevron Championship is being played at the Woodlands lasting through Sunday. Spotty showers and an isolated storm may lead to a delay Friday, but nothing major. We’ll have partly sunny skies with a high in the mid 80s with the chance for rain mostly in the evening.

This weekend is dry with temperatures near 90° and humid.
