Astros acquire Carlos Correa from Twins in blockbuster deal

The Houston Astros have orchestrated a blockbuster trade to bring a familiar face back home. With just hours before the MLB Trade Deadline, sources confirmed to KPRC 2’s Ari Alexander that the Minnesota Twins had traded shortstop Carlos Correa to the Astros. The Astros traded left-handed pitching prospect Matt Mikulski to the Twins in the deal. The Twins will be paying $33 million of the remaining $103.42 million on Correa’s contract.
