Pope Leo XIV Inaugurated as First American and Peruvian Pontiff

In a ceremony rich with tradition, Pope Leo XIV was inaugurated as the new leader of the Catholic Church inside St. Peter's Basilica. The 69-year-old, originally from Chicago and also the first Pope from Peru, succeeds Pope Francis, who passed away last month.
