REAL ID Now Required for Domestic Flights: What You Need to Know

Starting today, a REAL ID-compliant card is necessary for domestic air travel and access to certain federal buildings. Passed in 2005 following the 9/11 Commission's recommendations, the REAL ID Act aims to enhance security and improve air travel safety.
