Sylvester Turner lies in state in Austin before returning to Houston

Former Houston Mayor and congressman Sylvester Turner is lying in state in Austin until noon today before his body is brought back to Houston. Yesterday, colleagues and friends gathered in the Senate chamber to honor Turner’s 27 years of service as a state representative.
