Deputies were working to find out if alcohol was a factor in a wrong-way crash that killed a 5-year-old girl in northeast Harris County.

An investigation is underway after a wrong-way crash left at least one person dead on Beltway 8 southbound near Woodforest in east Harris County Sunday morning.

Police believe wrong way driver was intoxicated when she crashed into a car with three people inside, killing a 17-year-old.
