Val & Maks Chmerkovskiy are some of the most famous ballroom dancers in the entire world! Lucky for us, we have several of their dance studios in the Houston area. The latest location, in Katy, is now open and Val says it's the perfect spot for beginners to give dancing a try. Ahead of the big grand opening, Val stopped by Houston Life to teach Derrick Shore and Lauren Kelly a few of his spicy moves.

Visitors can count on three whole days of authentic dancing, food, and of course shopping, all happening at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
