The San Antonio Police Department were dispatched to the Stone Oak neighborhood to conduct a welfare check after they received a call from a neighbor who said they had not heard from them for days, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus told KSAT. McManus told KSAT in a press conference that officers smelled heavy noxious fumes when they arrived at the residence. McManus told KSAT that the incident was not an accident and appeared to be a suicide, and the heavy fumes were later identified as carbon monoxide. McManus later told KSAT no explosives were found.

SAN ANTONIO – A 38-year-old woman is dead after she allegedly shot and killed her two children and mother before turning the gun on herself, police say. KSAT.com reported that according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, the woman shot her two kids, a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, and her 68-year-old mother Monday morning in an apartment in the Sedona Ranch complex in the 17600 block of Henderson Pass. The woman, who has not been identified by authorities, recently lost custody of her children, McManus said. The father of the kids had been trying to reach the mother for an unknown amount of time. He showed up at the apartment complex, peeked in through the blinds and found their bodies, McManus said.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Two victims of a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday night at a bar along the River Walk have been identified. Robert Martinez, 21, and Alejandro Robles, 25, were identified Monday as the victims of the shooting, according to the San Antonio Medical Examiner. The five injured victims are expected to survive their injuries, according to San Antonio police. The oldest victim is a 46-year-old woman and the other four victims are teenage males ranging in age from 16 to 19, according to San Antonio Police Department spokesperson Michelle Ramos. The five other shooting victims who were injured were taken to hospitals in San Antonio.
