Tropical Storm Erick is gaining strength in the Pacific Ocean and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane before striking Mexico near or south of the resort city of Acapulco.

A hurricane warning has been issued for part of Mexico’s Pacific coast as Tropical Storm Erick intensified.
