CYPRESS, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say threatened employees at a Taco Bell in Cypress. Deputies said the man began to yell that the employees “shouldn’t do anything to his food.”The manager tried to reason with the man, but deputies say he began to yell and threatened to beat up the manager. According to deputies, the manager escorted the man out of the restaurant and locked the doors. The man then took his shirt off and approached the drive-thru window and banged on the window with his fists and threatened to shoot the workers, deputies said. HOUSTON – Taco Bell is dropping the Mexican Pizza from its menu on Nov. 5. The company said the Mexican Pizza packaging accounts for over 7 million pounds of paperboard material per year in the U.S. Taco Bell is also removing shredded chicken for its menu, meaning no more Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito, and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt beginning on Nov. 5. Guests can still order Fresco Style, which swaps out nacho cheese sauce, shredded cheese, mayo-based sauces, and low-fat sour cream with tomatoes. Taco Bell is also introducing two new menu items: the Chicken Chipotle Melt and Dragonfruit Freeze.
