KPRC 2 wants to hear from Houston area residents who may be dealing with a stray dog problem in your community.

Now, two people who volunteer to help rescue and rehouse some of those strays, Jenny Rodriguez and Zully Vasquez, say the scope of the problem also includes people dumping unwanted dogs. Animals that may have been shot or run over and are now suffering on the streets.

As complaints continue to pile up, the issue of stray dogs and attacks is expected to take center stage at Tuesday’s Liberty County commissioner’s court meeting.

One day before a meeting of the Liberty County Commissioners Court where the issue is said to be addressed, a realtor says the problem of stray dogs is causing issues for business.

We have an update to a story we first brought you Monday night involving packs of dozens of stray dogs that have been terrorizing a neighborhood in the Cleveland-area and other parts of Liberty County for months now.

Two of the most recent attacks happened on Thanksgiving Day.
