Human skeletal remains were found in a wooded area in southwest Houston.

Houston Police say skeletal remains have been discovered in a field in the Clear Lake area.

Houston police are currently awaiting autopsy results for skeletal remains that were found inside of a cooler.

Authorities are seeking help to identify the remains of a young black male, estimated to be between 16 and 22 years old, found in a wooded area near Morton Road, Houston, on October 30, 2023.

A woman and her boyfriend were taken into custody and charged late Tuesday, two days after the skeletal remains of a child were found inside an apartment in west Harris County. The child’s three surviving siblings were also found in the apartment, which appeared to be abandoned.
