Waymo, formerly known as the Google Self-Driving Car Project, is embarking on a cross-country tour visiting more than 10 cities this year, and one of them is Houston.

General Motors says it will retreat from robotaxis “given the considerable time and resources would be needed to scale the business, along with an increasingly competitive robotaxi market.”
