HOUSTON – February is looking “lovely” as Houston’s Rooftop Cinema Club is set to open their new venue in Houston’s East End District. The Drive-in off Navigation is set to open Thursday. Tickets are $5 per vehicle up to two occupants, and $10 per vehicle for three or more occupants. Tickets for The Drive-In off Navigation are available starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday and cost between $22-$36 per vehicle, depending on vehicle occupancy and the day of screening. These are the featured February films:Feb. 3: “Father of the Bride,” “50 First Dates”Feb. 4: “Romeo & Juliet,” “Friday the 13th”.

Enjoy a blast from the past well-suited for present circumstances -- the old-fashioned drive-in theater -- at Rooftop Cinema Club’s newest Houston location. The new drive-in movie theater officially dubbed the The Drive-In off Navigation is located at 2300 Runnels St. in Houston’s East Downtown Management District, commonly referred to as EaDo. During the event, the venue will unveil the largest drive-in screen in the city at 64 feet, according to a press release. The Drive-In off Navigation will open with Jurassic Park at 7:30 pm, followed by Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy at 10:30 pm. The Drive-In off Navigation replaces Space City Shows, a pop-up drive-in movie experience opened in September.

Before it’s lights out, Rooftop Cinema Club, which runs the drive-in, rolled out a list of screenings for November. Guests can enjoy the venue’s most-popular films plus two new 2020 releases: The Secret: Dare to Dream and The Broken Hearts Gallery. For a late-night-date-night Sunday through Thursday, the venue offers $20-per-vehicle tickets (for 2 people) for all 9:45 and 10:15 p.m. screenings. Every Sunday night, the venue offers tickets for only $5 per vehicle for the 9:30 and 10:15 p.m. show. The drive-in cinema has yet to announce its new location, which is slated to open in December.

HOUSTON – Rooftop Cinema Club is bringing in the fall drive-in season with comic book heroes, Halloween favorites, romance films and more. Guests can also continue enjoying Rooftop’s popular $5 “Community Screenings” every Sunday where 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to the Houston Food Bank and the Black Lives Matter organization. For a late-night-date-night Sunday through Thursday, the venue offers $20-per-vehicle tickets (for 2 people) for all 10-11 p.m. screenings. Doors open one hour prior to all 7:30-8 p.m. screenings and 30 minutes prior to the 10-11 p.m. screenings. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as parking spaces will be assigned for each section on a first-come-first-serve basis.

HOUSTON Rooftop Cinema Clubs Drive-In at Sawyer Yards is a great way to enjoying a contact-free movie experience. Movies are shown on a 100-ft screen projected on silos, and you can find the audio on dedicated FM radio stations. Guests have the option to bring their own snacks, order concessions from Rooftop Cinema Club, or food from on-site food truckswhich is all done online for a safe, contact-less, experience. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. for the first showings each night starting at 8:30 p.m., and 30 minutes prior for the 11 p.m. showings. Masks are required for any time you step out of your vehicle.

HOUSTON – Summer nights on the rooftop are coming back to Houston as Rooftop Cinema Club’s Blvd. Place location will reopen with classic movie showings starting June 16, Houston CultureMap reported. HOUSTON – The Rooftop Cinema Club announced the opening of its second drive-in location in Spring. The outdoor cinema, called “The Drive-In at Spring" will open Friday and will allow guests to have a contactless cinema experience from their vehicles. Similar to the Sawyer Yards theater, the Spring venue opens with two screenings every night of the week. Ticket pricing will start at $28 per vehicle, regardless of occupancy and guests have the option to bring their own snacks, order from the Rooftop Cinema concessions stand or from their partner The Burger Joint food truck, that will be located on-site. The cinema will also have community screenings with a small $5 donation per vehicle that will also be available at the new venue to help those impacted by COVID-19.

The governor put strict guidelines in place for businesses that were allowed to reopen and, in an effort to promote those guidelines, the Rooftop Cinema Club is bringing back the drive-in movie. The Drive-In at Sawyer Yards will open May 12. You can find it at Sawyer Yards at 2301 Summer St., behind Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co.What can you expect? Guests have the option of bringing their own snacks or ordering concessions from Rooftop Cinema, or food and drinks from their partner, Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co., which is located on site.
