Robert Bowers, a 45-year-old from Katy, was arrested during a traffic stop in La Grange after allegedly making a threat that led to the evacuation of the Texas State Capitol.

The Roman Forest Police Department said it happened Saturday night when two officers were flagged down by a resident saying the alligator had walked across the bridge and was in a flower bed.
