Three jailers who work at the Polk County Jail have been arrested, accused of assaulting a 34-year-old inmate from Kingwood inside of the jail.

On an unusually warm February in Livingston, Texas, Audrii Cunningham, an 11-year-old girl whose only fault was being too kind, was kidnapped and brutally murdered by a man who entered her life just a few years prior.

A lot has happened in the past year since Audrii Cunningham disappeared.

Officials said Jahmall Le’Sean Thomas, 39, was a teacher at Hardin ISD and was involved in a relationship with a female student at a Polk County School District.

Audrii Cunningham's family sat down with KPRC 2 for the nearly hour-long interview, where they talked about Audrii’s life, who she was, what she liked to do and who she wanted to be.

Audrii Cunningham hasn’t been seen since Thursday morning, and investigators said 42-year-old Don Steven McDougal is likely the last person who saw her that day.

Authorities say a third victim has died following a violent attack where an angry electrician wielding a knife and baseball bat killed three co-workers and injured another at the Florida home they shared.
