A motorcyclist was pronounced dead on Friday night after a crash involving an 18-wheeler.

An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in north Houston Friday, police said.

Deputies are investigating a wrong-way crash that killed a motorcyclist in Cypress Wednesday. Deputies said the motorcyclist collided head-on with a big rig. Deputies said the crash happened southbound 99 and south of Bridgeland Creek Parkway around 1:55 a.m. According to deputies, the motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries and was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the big rig continued south, hit a cable divider, and came to a rest in the median, deputies said.

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist in west Houston Tuesday. Police said the crash happened on Westheimer at Southbound 610 Feeder around 11:55 p.m. According to investigators, responding units located a man down in the roadway along with a motorcycle. Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. Police said the driver of the vehicle the motorcycle crashed into was located in the parking lot across the street.

HOUSTON – A deadly crash involving a motorcyclist is under investigation in southwest Houston, police said. Officers said the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday on Westpark and Addicks Clodine. According to investigators, a man on a motorcycle and another driver collided in the intersection. The motorcyclist was killed and the driver of the car was injured, police said. At this time, investigators said they are working to see if either of the drivers ran a red light.
