A man accused in the shooting death of a contract worker early Wednesday morning outside of a Houston business has been taken into custody on Thursday, the Houston Police Department announced.

Investigators said a driver pulled up to a business where a man was working outside. The two exchanged words when, at some point, the driver got out and shot the worker before fleeing the scene.
