The wife of a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador is calling for his return to the U.S. Jennifer Vasquez Sura hasn’t spoken to her husband, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, since he was flown to his native El Salvador last month.

In the 22 days since Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia was mistakenly deported to a notoriously violent prison in El Salvador, his young autistic son has sought comfort in the scent of his missing father’s clothes.
