SPRING, Texas – A woman died Thursday after being shot several times at a home in north Harris County. Jason Brown, of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies responded to reports of a shooting at the home and found the woman inside, suffering from several gunshot wounds. The woman, who was later identified as 34-year-old Jessica Snodgrass, was flown to a hospital where she died, Brown said. During an interview with investigators, deputies said Beach admitted to shooting Snodgrass with a handgun. He is being held in the Harris County Jail.

SPRING, Texas – A man is in custody after he fatally shot his wife and wounded his 10-year old step-son Saturday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The incident happened around 5 p.m. Saturday at a home on Lockridge Drive between Cotter Drive and Silverton Street, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Brown said Fontenot was taken into custody without incident and admitted to shooting and killing his wife. Fontenot also admitted to shooting at his step-son, authorities said.

HOUSTON – The father of Sierra Rhodd, the 20-year-old with cerebral palsy who was killed in a shooting, was shot to death by a family member, authorities said. Bang, bang, bang, bang. “It’s just something that…it’s the last thing you would expect in this neighborhood," Bisby said. Sierra Rhodd was killed after a group of assailants surrounded the Rhodd family’s home and opened fire with at least a rifle, shotgun and pistol. After further investigation, authorities learned the intended target was Sierra Rhodd’s 15-year-old brother due to an ongoing feud with several individuals.
