The fire was reported around 2 p.m. at the Pelican Pointe Apartments, where smoke billowed into the air until around 5 p.m.Houston firefighters said they reported to a call of an apartment fire. They said the fourth alarm was called after the roof of the apartment partially collapsed, trapping one firefighter. Officials warned other residents to be cautious with the current weather conditions. That is a very dangerous way to heat your home, especially concerns for carbon monoxide,” Mire warned.
