Despite the spotty weather, Houston police do not believe weather played a role and several witnesses said they approached the driver, who stayed briefly after the crash but took off before police arrived.

HOUSTON Harris County sheriffs deputies said they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that killed a teen in west Harris County Thursday morning.
