FBI Houston said Edward Wayne Rene was sentenced to 8 years in prison for theft of a public servant and sexual performance by a minor.

The FBI has arrested a man on child pornography charges who they say is linked to a man previously arrested for filming himself and others sexually assaulting a child in the bathroom at the Galleria Mall.

Investigators believe there was a gunfight in the apartment parking lot that carried into the street when one of the stray bullets went through an apartment, hitting a little boy eating a Happy Meal from McDonalds.

At the hearing, the state provided evidence that Carlos Portillo-Molina, 45, began sexually abusing two children starting when they were between 7 and 8 years old.

State lawmakers approved the first vote on H.B. 2000 named after 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham, who was brutally murdered by a man who was previously convicted of a sexual crime against a minor but didn't have to register as a sex offender.

According to documents obtained by KPRC 2 Investigates, Daryn Edwards, 59, has had extensive course training, including earning 60 hours of credit in child abuse prevention and investigation.

Investigators visited Ilana Madrid, 32, who was looking after the baby, and per court records, saw she had several dogs in her home that were "allowed to urinate and defecate on puppy pads all over the apartment."

Authorities began investigating Taylor Roy after getting tips about videos showing young girls recorded in public areas; namely The Woodlands Mall, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and local parks. Some footage allegedly included young girls undressing in a Forever 21 dressing room.

The children’s ages ranged from 7 months - 11 years old. Deputies brought the children food and arrested their mother, Elizabeth Martinez, and a man, Enterio Coronado.
