After losing his father to cancer, a Cleveland High School student found hope and support from a teacher and the community — who came together to surprise him with a full scholarship to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot.

Two Cleveland High School students are in the hospital after they were hit by a pickup truck as they crossed the street near the school Monday evening, officers with the Cleveland Police Department said.

Teacher vacancies are becoming quite common throughout our area, right now there are 12 unfilled teaching positions at Cleveland High School.
