The Dickinson Gators blew out Clear Brook 45-7 to wrap up their regular season finishing 7-3 and third in District 24-6A.

Clear Falls ran past Clear Brook 42-13 in a District 24-6A contest. The Knights move to 4-1 with a huge rival game with Clear Springs looming this weekend. Both are 1-0 in district play.

Clear Brook has jumped out to a quick start this season, going 13-0 and 2-0 in district play. The Millender brothers are combining for over 42 points per game and are getting help from Christian Bradshaw and Mylo Sonnier among others. The pre-district season is in full-swing and teams are starting to find themselves. 1 remains atop the polls, while a few teams have emerged into the Top 10 like Elkins, Clear Brook, Cypress Ranch and CE King. Clear Brook is young and hungryLast year, Clear Brook won a playoff game for the first time in six years after going 26-11 and 7-5 in a pretty competitive district. KeMauri Millender returns after a sophomore year in which he earned a first-team nod. Zyon Little, a 6-foot-5 forward, was a second-teamer as a freshman and averaged seven points and seven rebounds. Clear Springs took down Clear Falls 27-14 in an important District 24-6A matchup, putting the Knights in a tie for first in the conference. The Knights face Clear Brook 2-0 this weekend. Clear Falls is still in the hunt for the fourth playoff spot and play Clear Lake up next. Here's another great gallery by Andy Tolbert.

Clear Falls made a statement last weekend, crushing Clear Brook 28-0 in a District 24-6A clash. The offense is rolling for the Knights as QB Pierson Morelli has already thrown for over 400 yards and Quinn Bowen has over 400 all-purpose yards. WR Luke Vidal has also pitched in on offense. But VYPE has still done what we have always done when it comes to previewing Texas high school football here in Houston. ...CLEAR SPRINGS CHARGERSAfter winning district in 2018, Clear Springs went 6-1 in 24-6A in 2019, losing the crown to Dickinson. Defensively, the marquee talents are 6-foot-4, 225-pound senior DE/ LB Keith Cooper (55 total tackles, 4 sacks, INT) and senior OLB Kyron Smith (38 total tackles, INT). Defensively, the Knights are led by junior DB Tristan Zarella (3 INTs) and junior LB Kannon Garza (60 total tackles). Behind seniors Daevien Williams (44 total tackles) and Cameron Brown, who also plays linebacker, the secondary has some bright spots.
