Martha Burton, Luluโ€™s caretaker, told the station Lulu's owner, Bill Dorris, was a successful businessman who wasn't married and died late last year. His will states the money should be put into a trust for Lulu's care. โ€œHe just really loved the dog,โ€ said Burton, who was friends with Dorris and would take care of the dog when he traveled.

As the coronavirus pandemic drags on, a new poll finds it is having different effects on Americans economic well-being. For some, the virus has meant lost income or struggles to pay bills on time particularly among Hispanic, Black and younger Americans. Meanwhile, the survey also finds about a third of Americans say their investments were negatively impacted during the pandemic. By contrast, Americans without a degree were more likely to have delayed paying bills 26%, compared with 10% of college graduates. Younger Americans were more likely to have lost a job, put themselves at risk of exposure or delayed paying bills, while more older Americans lost investments.

Camp For All is a 206-acre campus in Burton that specializes in activities for disabled children and adults without any barriers, said President and CEO Pat Sorrells. Sorrells said the camp splits the $1,000 per person cost in half with its 65 community partners. โ€œCampers come here and discover what they can do as opposed to out in the real world what they canโ€™t do.
