Police in League City have arrested a 62-year-old man they say left the scene after fatally striking a pedestrian with his vehicle.

A child has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in southwest Houston Wednesday morning.

An investigation is underway after a person was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle in northeast Houston Monday afternoon, according to Houston police.
