The news comes after the Houston Astros recently improved their offer to Bregman. Sources told KPRC 2 at the time Bregman was unlikely to accept the improved offer as there was still a gap between what Bregman desired and what the Astros were offering.
Bregman had been fielding interest from teams like the Blue Jays, Red Sox, Cubs, and Tigers, according to a source.
