Ridge Point High School – When you’re one of the best high school volleyball players in the country and committed to the #1-ranked collegiate team, the University of Nebraska, it’s interesting to have an even bigger dream off the court.
“I would really like to be a pediatrician,” said Ridge Point senior Jayden Robinson.
So what made her choose that career path?
“When I was like little, I really hated shots, so every time I went to the pediatrician and I always thought I was gonna get a shot, my pediatrician would always like let me examine him and use all the stuff with like the stethoscope and the temperature reader,” said Robinson.
Is she excited to be just like her own pediatrician someday?
“I’m really excited to like see how I can show a little kid what a pediatrician can be like and giving them the same things that I went through to think of being a pediatrician and showing them like how you can like change them, just a little bit,” said Robinson.
The Ridge Point Panthers are currently undefeated in district and will hold senior night on October 24th.
