HOUSTON – When you break two school records during a 70-62 victory over Tomball Memorial, you know you’re doing something special.
Klein Cain senior running back Jah’Rin Louis rushed for 450 yards and six touchdowns in the win vs. Memorial and shared with us what that experience was like.
“Oh, it was ecstatic,” said Louis. “I was honestly just hoping to win, I was just putting my trust in god, putting my trust in my teammates, and we all trust each other, so we went out there every drive, and we knew we had to go score and that’s what we went and did.”
Louis isn’t sure yet where he wants to play football at the next level, but he knows exactly what he wants to study when he gets to college.
“Definitely architecture, I love to build things, and architecture is where it’s at for me,” said Louis. “I have a class a class in architecture for four years now, so gonna try and keep that going.”
What inspired Louis to pursue a career in architecture?
“Big houses, everyone loves big houses, I loved big houses growing up, so make floor plans, you know, interior designs, all that,” said Louis.
Louis and the Hurricanes will host Magnolia this Saturday at 6 p.m.
