HOUSTON – The Texans worked out veteran defensive tackle Marlon Davidson along with nose tackle Kevin Hester and linebacker Oshane Ximines, per a league source.
Davidson, 27, is a former Atlanta Falcons second-round draft pick who has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans.

Davidson (6-foot-3, 303 pounds has recorded 39 career tackles, two sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. He’s a former All-Southeastern Conference selection at Auburn.
Hester (6-foot-4, 310 pounds) played collegiately at North Carolina. He was invited to minicamps with the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs after going undrafted. He had 30 tackles last season with one fumble recovery.
Ximines, 28, has played for the New York Giants and New England Patriots.
He was an all-conference player at Old Dominion.
In the NFL, he has 72 career tackles and 6 1/2 sacks with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and six pass deflections. He’s a former Giants third-round draft pick who has nine career tackles for losses.
