Texas A&M vs. Michigan: 5 things to watch

HOUSTON – As Texas A&M and Michigan get set to take the court Thursday night in the NCAA Tournament, here are five things to watch:

1) Texas A&M’s T.J. Starks

The freshman has become one of the Aggies highest scorers. He had 19 against North Carolina and will need another big game to top Michigan.

2) Rebounding

Likely the team that controls the boards and takes advantage of second-chance opportunities on offense will have the edge.

3) Michigan's Mo Wagner

He has been less than his best so far in the tournament. He will need to step up his production and watch out for getting in foul trouble if the Wolverines are to advance.

4) Spread the wealth

Aggies had four players in double digits when they knocked off North Carolina. They’ll need that again -- plus more -- against the Wolverines.

5) Defense

Defense wins championships. Period.

The game will begin at 6:37 p.m. CT.
