Armed shooting suspect believed to be barricaded inside home in La Marque; police responding
LA MARQUE, Texas – The La Marque Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area around the intersection of Cedar Drive and Kirsten Street as authorities respond to a barricaded suspect.
Police say the suspect allegedly shot a woman before barricading himself in a house. The woman’s condition is currently unknown.
A special response team has responded to the scene.
Law enforcement is currently outside the home trying to get the suspect to come out peacefully.
