They responded to the 7900 block of Avenue F where they found a man on the ground next to a bicycle. He had been shot at least one time.

Police say the man was conscious when they got there, but was uncooperative and wouldn’t say what happened. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police followed a blood trail, which led them to what appears to be a bicycle repair shop in the 8000 block of Avenue B. There, they tried to speak with the people inside, but according to Lt. Larry Crowson, they were uncooperative and said they didn’t see anything.

No weapon or shell casings were recovered and police are now trying to find surveillance video and cooperative witnesses to try and find out what happened.
