Harris County residents have until Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, to register to vote in the Nov. 4 general election.
Registration applications are available through the Harris County Tax Office, local libraries, post offices, or online at hctax.net. Completed applications must be postmarked or delivered by Oct. 6.

Early voting runs from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31. Polls will be open on Election Day, Nov. 4, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
To be eligible, voters must be U.S. citizens, residents of Harris County, at least 18 years old by Election Day, and not currently serving a felony sentence.
Texas law requires voters to show an approved photo ID at the polls, such as a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. passport, or military ID.
