Officials have released surveillance footage of the white Chevy Impala sedan they believe was used in a drive-by shooting that hospitalized a 12-year-old in the Spring Branch area last week.
The shooting happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 in the 7600 block of Hammerly Boulevard at Jacelyn Drive.

KPRC 2 reporter Jaewon Jung learned that the driver shot through an apartment complex with a semiautomatic pistol as it drove by.
The 12-year-old victim was shot in the arm. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
Authorities do not have a description of the suspect and believe multiple people could have been in the sedan. They are looking into surveillance footage from the area.
