A student was injured Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter near Dekaney High School, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The incident happened in the 22000 block of Imperial Valley Drive. Deputies said the student was awake, breathing, and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. EMS treated him at the scene.
