Photo shows suspect accused of groping jogger at Pasadena park

PASADENA, Texas – Local investigators are working to track down an unknown man who allegedly groped a woman at a park in Pasadena.

On Aug. 14, 2025, at about 7:19 p.m., a female jogger was groped while running the trail at Holly Bay Park.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, between 20 and 25 years old, with black hair. He was wearing a white tank top and dark pants.

During a press conference Friday afternoon, Pasadena Police Department urged residents near Holly Bay Park who may have surveillance footage of a male matching this description from the day of the incident to come forward

“No one has come forward yet,” Pasadena Police Department Assistant Chief Raul Granados said. “We want to see if there’s anyone who has information on someone matching this description.”

Residents who frequent Holly Bay Park are also urged to report any suspicious behavior by individuals matching this description to the Pasadena Police Department.

“We just want to bring awareness and be on the lookout,” Granados added. “If you can, if you’re going late at night, take somebody with you. Also, try to go during daylight hours.”

KPRC 2 Reporter Corley Peel spoke with women at the park who shared how they stay safe. One woman says she brings a whistle and her friend carries a taser. Janet Pina also brings protection.

I wear a running vest and I have like pepper spray or a pocket knife and then I have family members that have my location,” said Pina.
