HOUSTON – Houstonians seeking a second chance will have the opportunity to get FREE legal help at an upcoming community event in mid-September aimed at restoring access to justice for underserved residents.
The 2025 Empower(ed) to Restore: Expungement & Legal Clinic will take place Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at YET @ Finnigan Park, 4900 Providence St.
Organized by The Cam Agency, LLC in partnership with Empower CDC and Whitestone, the clinic is designed to provide individuals and families with direct access to legal professionals and vital community resources.
Services offered at the legal clinic include:
- Guidance on expungement and record sealing
- Help with legal paperwork and applications
- Access to licensed professionals for personalized legal advice
Organizers say the goal of Empower(ed) to Restore is to break down barriers, restore opportunities, and uplift communities by creating pathways to justice and second chances.
