HOUSTON – Houston Police say a man has been taken to a hospital in critical condition after a shooting at a METRO bus stop in southwest Houston Tuesday evening.
Authorities say it happened at 6:55 p.m. in the 8300 block of W. Bellfort.
According to police, the victim was waiting at the bus stop when another man wearing a mask and a white t-shirt approached him and fired shots.
Police say the victim was shot twice.

He was transported to the hospital and is currently in surgery.
Police continue to search for the suspect and are trying to find out more information about him.
