One of the most accomplished quarterbacks in the history of Houston high school football was honored for his legendary career.
Andrew Luck, who graduated from Stratford High School in 2008, was honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston, as the organization hosted its 60th Annual Touchdowner of the Year Dinner last Wednesday.

One of the highlights of the evening was the announcement of this year’s Touchdowners of the Year—a special honor that went to Oliver Luck and his son, Andrew Luck.
The father-son duo was celebrated for their contributions to football both on and off the field, with Oliver recognized for his leadership in sports administration and Andrew for his distinguished NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts.
The son of a former Houston Oilers’ quarterback in Oliver, Andrew followed in his father’s footsteps, lighting up the field at Stratford. He also excelled off the field as well, graduating as valedictorian in his graduating class, serving in National Honor Society and volunteering with the Special Olympics.
The Touchdown Club, founded in 1966, has long been a cornerstone of the Houston sports community, raising scholarship funds and supporting student-athletes through its events.
