A woman was arrested after she was found to be driving while intoxicated with her child in the vehicle.
At around 8 p.m. on Aug. 16, deputies with Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop near the 9800 block of Grant Road in Cypress.

During the stop, the female driver exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. If her behavior wasn’t enough indication, 18 alcoholic beverages cans were found scattered across the floorboards of her backseat. The woman also had a loaded gun.
The woman’s 4-year-old child was in the vehicle.
Field sobriety tests were conducted at the scene to further determine that the driver was intoxicated.
Morgan Currie was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Currie has been given a $10,100 bond.
