PASADENA, Texas – A man is in custody after a deadly stabbing in Pasadena over the weekend.
Officers with the Pasadena Police Department said they responded to the 3800 block of Red Bluff on Sunday afternoon and found a man lying on the ground with multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, detectives identified 32-year-old Patrick Dean Villarreal as a suspect. Police said Villarreal confessed to stabbing the victim near his residence after a prior altercation.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted a murder charge against Villarreal.
Out of respect for the family, authorities have not yet publicly released the victim’s name.
