Man accused of killing parents in Crosby arrested, bail set at $4 million

Christopher Leman Jr., 47, has been arrested in connection with the July deaths of his parents near Crosby.

Leman Jr. was wanted for capital murder in the deaths of 75-year-old Christopher Leman Sr. and 73-year-old Mary Leman.

He now faces a capital murder charge and harassment charges, with bail set at $4,000,000 for the capital murder charge and $4,000 for the harassment charge.

On July 11, deputies responded to a welfare check at a home in the 10500 block of Crosby Lynchburg Road. Christopher Leman Sr. was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mary Leman was transported to a hospital, where she later died on July 13.

On Wednesday, Christopher was present in court, but a judge reset his case for Dec. 4.
