Wanted murder suspect accused of killing parents near Crosby

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help finding a man accused of killing his parents back in July.

Christopher Leman Jr., 47, is wanted for capital murder in connection to the death of his parents, 75-year-old Christopher Leman Sr. and 73-year-old Mary Leman.

It happened on July 11 when deputies responded to a welfare check call at a home in the 10500 block of Crosby Lynchburg Road in the eastern part of Harris County.

When deputies arrived at the home, both victims were found inside suffering from severe injuries.

Leman Sr. was pronounced dead at the scene. Mary Leman was transported to a hospital where she was initially expected to survive, but died on Sunday, July 13.

After investigating and gathering evidence at the scene, detectives were able to identify Leman Jr. as a suspect in the case.

He is currently not in custody and is considered a danger to the community.
